Affiliate privacy

Your affiliate account is separate from your Gen account. We store your email, hashed password, session information, unique referral code and payout requests. An essential, host-only sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.

When someone follows your link, Gen stores a first-party referral cookie for up to 30 days. A new account can be associated with your referral so eligible subscription commissions can be calculated. Your dashboard shows aggregate visits, signups, paid customers, commissions and payout status. It does not reveal customers’ emails, prompts or payment details.

Stripe processes customers’ payments. Affiliate payouts are handled manually; this dashboard does not collect bank or card credentials. Account, referral and financial records are retained to operate the program, prevent abuse and meet recordkeeping obligations. Backups may retain records for their rotation period.

You can clear cookies or stop participating. Contact Gen through gen.new to request access, correction or deletion of your information, subject to required financial record retention.
